LAS VEGAS may be synonymous with Casinos or Gambling over the past few decades. However, with the introduction of Online Live Casinos, Slots and Lotteries, the profile of gambling and bookmakers has increased significantly in recent years. The industry is now much more accessible to the masses as compared to previously when only the rich and famous had access to it. On one hand, Online Poker rooms and World tournaments have become a blessing in disguise for skilled professional gamblers to try their gambling skills. Whereas on the other,  Mobile apps and websites have made it easier for the masses to have a flutter from a wide range of options such as Lottery, Slots, Sports Betting sites as well as online Casino games such as Poker, Baccarat, Roulette, and Blackjack. Thus, unlike the High Rollers of the 90’s, more and more gamblers are making their fortunes outside the walls of the highly publicized Casinos and away from the prying eyes of the onlookers.

High Rollers or Whales as they are referred in the Industry are the ones who stake at least $1 million every time they sit at a table. They were estimated to be around 180 of them during the late 90’s. According to reports, that number has gone up significantly especially after the rise of Poker millionaires. These High Rollers, many of whom who started from nothing, are now competing on global stage with the ultra rich and famous. For instance, both Prince Harry and William are estimated to be worth $40 million each whereas Kate Middleton is worth $10 million which is only a fraction what the biggest gamblers in the world have been worth. The industry is projected to be worth more than $500 billion by the year 2019 and hence the wealth of these Gamblers would also increase significantly. We have put together a list of Richest Gambling stars in the Casino Business as of now.

Dan Bilzerian is one of the richest live Casino Poker players in recent times and is net worth is estimated to be over $150 million. He made his fortune by winning multiple tournaments and making astonishing 50 million dollars through poker playing alone, most notable being winning 10.8 million dollars in a single night.  He now lives a playboy lifestyle in his £3.7 million Las Vegas mansion, filled with guns, condoms, and expensive suits.  His lifestyle is as controversial as it is enticing and seemingly free of moral, financial or legal constraints. Also, his Instagram followers have crowned him as the Instagram King (23 million of them and 20,000 new additions every day). He is also the Co-founder of an online Poker room, Victory Poker, and a renowned stunt actor and has landed roles in major Hollywood movies.

Prior to making a name for himself in the Gambling world, Dan served in Navy and began training for the SEAL program but was eventually kicked out of navy two days before graduating for offending an officer. He then enrolled at the University of Florida, where he also learned to become a world-class live casino poker player. However, he’d gone broke by his second year, apparently with no access to the assets of which he was a beneficiary. Forced to sell his guns, Bilzerian returned to the poker table with a near-pathological focus. He turned the $750 he had left over from liquidating his possessions into $10,000 and bought a one-way ticket to Las Vegas to turn that $10,000 into $187,000 by playing live casino tournaments and there was no looking back since then.
