Although the US has been blessed with the vast amount of natural resources, it is also prone to many natural calamities especially Hurricanes probably because of it’s geographical location. Over the past few decades, the American continent has experienced many devastating Hurricanes which has caused catastrophic economic losses and even few of the biggest insurance companies fortunes are wiped off by paying these massive natural disaster insurance bills.
According to reports, Hurricane Andrew in 1992 estimated to have cost damages worth $ 17 B. Since 2000, US has suffered some of the biggest hurricanes which have pushed the insurance bills to record high’s in the range of $250 Billion and more.
